It's hard to tell by listening to him if he purposely used that phrase to take a stab at Palin or not. (It's hard for me to believe he didn't know exactly what he was doing). In any case, I'm sure he wishes he hadn't used it given the attention paid to it in the press.
Obama's definitely playing in the "big leagues" now...and frankly I do believe the average citizen is still trying to figure out if he deserves to be there or not.
It will be interesting to see how the Obama folks cry out when Palin mis-speaks sometime down the road over the next two months.
By the way - does anyone even remember who the Democrat nominee for Veep is anymore? He's slipped into obscurity pretty fast.
